Well...  I don't have any.

HOWEVER... Have you read The New Mutants yet?  It's the first series I ever posted on LJ, and takes place in an X-Men Movieverse post-X3.  A knowledge of the movie series is probably required, but any actual knowledge of the comic book is optional.  Every character in the series is from the comic book, but I personally think it's just as fun if you don't know their origins.  Hell, its not like you knew the origins of the characters when you saw the movie, right?

The reason I'm bringing it up?  Because half of the reason I'm plotbunnying off of Iron Man is that I've written him before.  Tony Stark plays a huge role in New Mutants II, eventually becoming my main villain by the end.  And it feels like half of the plotbunnies that are erupting in my brain from this movie have some sort of link to my already-written series.

I like it a lot, and if you're a fan of my AtF series you might get a kick out of it.  High concepts, lots and lots of characters, lots and lots of chapters.  Not AtF lots, but it was my longest up to that point.

Hey, anyone wanna read some of my old fanfiction?

I finally got around to cleaning up New Mutants and Dagger of Ravenclaw.  Each chapter now contains a title on the top and, more importantly, links at the top and bottom to the next chapter and the previous chapter.  No more having to press the "back" button on your browser to get to the next chapter!

For anyone who's put me on their page in the past few weeks, from After The Flaw, Our Little Wilkins, etc, here's what's the what:

New Mutants is a piece of, well, LONG fanfic that I started writing in June of 2006.  It's a series that takes place in the X-Men movieverse, post X3, and deals with the Xavier Academy under the regime of Ororo Munroe.  Pretty much every character from the movie series that survived the trilogy makes some appearance in the story.  But it mostly focuses on the students and faculty of the school, both old and new.  Main characters include Bobby Drake, Kitty Pryde, Peter Rasputin, and Ororo Munroe from the movie series, plus I expand the roles of Theresa Cassidy, Jubilation Lee, "Jones," and "Jimmy."  Beyond that, new students to the school include Remy "Gambit" LeBeau, Lucas Bishop, Arthur "Longshot" Centrino, and and Alison "Dazzler" Blaire.  I'm really proud of it, so if you like the movies, even if you've never read the comic books, I think you'll really enjoy it.

Chapter one, Ororo's Class, can be found here.

Harry Potter & The Dagger of Ravenclaw is a prequel of sorts to my post-HBP, and thus AU, fic, Harry Potter & The Seven Soldiers.  It follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they travel to Egypt in search of Voldemort's Horcrux, the Dagger of Ravenclaw.  It's fairly short, coming in at only four chapters, but some of the situations that occur among the trio in their first nights away from home still amuse me to no end, but it still sets a fairly dark tone at the end in preparation for the bloodbath I put into Seven Soldiers.

Chapter one, Limassol, can be found here.

I still plan to go back in the next day or two and do continuity links to New Mutants II, but it's 11:30 and I'm tired.

If anyone's interested in reading my stuff, here's the link to my main fiction page.  It's also at the top of my LJ, for those of you not reading this from your friend's page.

I'll post later about the rest of the weekend.  Again, for now, me tired.

Whew
Tags are done.

Certainly helped that I used to feel obligated to post every day, and now I don't.

Here's what I have.  I've also listed them all at the bottom, so if you want to jump anywhere from here go ahead.

Starting Chapter 2 of Our Little Wilkins tonight.  If you've read Chapter 1, you know that things are going to get interesting.

Title: The New Mutants II, Volume XXIII: A New Beginning
Author: kanedax
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse, Spider-Man Movieverse, plus other Marvel ‘Verses
Spoilers: X3; The New Mutants I & II
Rating: PG-13 for language and mild content
Summary: Can’t Stop The Signal, Mal.
Notes: Nine months, forty-five chapters (plus one translation from German), and well over 100,000 words later, my vision of the future of the X-Men Movieverse is drawing to a close. It’s been a hell of a ride, but I think this is it for this universe for me. If anyone wants to pick it up and take it where I left off, feel free, I’d love to see what a fresh mind does with it, whether it be sequel, prequel, or, hell, erotica would be interesting. And if you’ve read the series and enjoyed it, but haven’t commented in the past, I would ask that you put a comment at the end of this chapter, at the very least. I want to know just how many people have gotten into it. As usual, I don’t own 20th Century Fox, Marvel Comics, The X-Men, Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Avengers, The Incredible Hulk, or any of the other, I don’t know, two dozen super heroes or teams I’ve mentioned in this series.

Thanks again for reading.

Fandom: X-Men Movieverse, with other Marvelverses
Rating: R for language and sexual suggestion
Spoilers: X3, New Mutants I & II (see above)
Summary: Logan brings the Parkers to the X-Men
Notes: Barring any extreme summarizing, it’s looking like NM II is going to end up being longer than NM I, at least from a chapter/volume/whatever standpoint. But I am finally allowing myself to see the end of the tunnel. As usual, I don’t own the X-Men, Marvel Comics, 20th Century Fox, or a secret island base.

Title: The New Mutants II, Volume XIV: Weapon X
Author: kanedax
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse, with hints of Spider-Man & Marvel universes
Spoilers: X3; The New Mutants I & II (see above); Spider-Man 1, 2, & the trailer for 3
Rating: PG-13 for language and suggested violence
Summary: Peter Parker gives Logan a history lesson on Weapon X
Notes: This isn't the longest chapter I've ever written.  But it is definitely the most dense.  Coming off New Mutants I, and coming into this series, this is the chapter I've been most anxious to get out there.  The list at the end is real.  You can find it on Wikipedia or IMDb.  Hopefully your head doesn't explode.  As usual, I don't own the X-Men, Spider-Man, Marvel Comics, 20th Century Fox, blah blah bliddy blah I'm so stuffy give me a scone.

Title: The New Mutants II, Volume XIII: Friendly Neighborhood
Author: kanedax
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse, and then some
Spoilers: X3, The New Mutants I & II (see above)
Rating: PG-13 for mild language
Summary: Logan finds what he's looking for, which once again is more than he bargained for
Notes: Nothing much to say here, except that I probably should have added a minor spoiler warning for two movies that any of you reading this have probably already seen.  If not, well...  you'll be okay in this chapter, but you DEFINITELY will have issues with the next one.  South Kingstown, RI, is a real town.  King's Ridge Rd. is a real road, but it stops well before it gets to the 1300 block.  I have never been there, and ran everything I knew off of Google Maps.  Also, my first time putting titles anywhere but my summary page.  As usual, I don't own the X-Men, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Comics, or anything like that.

Title: The New Mutants II, Volume XII
Author: kanedax
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse & Marvel Universe
Rating: R for language and sexual suggestion
Spoilers: X3, New Mutants I & II (see above)
Summary: Metaphysical hijinks.
Notes: So this could quite possibly be the most abstract thing I will ever write.  Hence the probable lack of skill in said writing.  Hopefully it doesn't come off as too confusing, yet doesn't, you know, beat your head into the ground with meaning.  As usual, I don't own the X-Men, Marvel Comics, 20th Century Fox, or Harry Potter 7.  But I shall.  Oh, yes.  I shall.

Author: kanedax
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse, plus various other Marvel characters
Spoilers: X3, New Mutants I & II (see above)
Rating: R for language, nudity, and sexual discussion by a cocky pervert
Summary: Sean's van returns to the Academy, and the students discover the extent of the damage
Notes: Not much to say about this chapter, actually, except to say that the next one's going to be REALLY funky.  As usual, I don't own the X-Men, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Comics.  But I do own a new icon.  Oooooh, pretty.

Rating: PG-13 for language
Spoilers: The New Mutants I & II (see above)
Summary: Logan does research. What more need be said?
Notes: The players are almost set, and it’s going to get fun really soon. I also added three cameos into this chapter beyond the main characters introduced for story effect. Can you see them all? ;) As usual, I don’t own the X-Men, Marvel Comics, 20th Century Fox, or an atlas.

Title: The New Mutants II, Volume VII
Author: kanedax
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse
Rating: R for language and mild violence
Spoilers: The New Mutants I & II (see above)
Summary: It's the Ass-Kickingest Ass Kicking Class ever; plus the students prepare to see an old friend and hear from another
Notes: Oops.  So, you know how last volume I said it was Volume VII?  I lied.  This is Volume VII, the other is a false imitator called Volume VI.  Also, I hope part of this chapter doesn't come off as too Queer Eye, but I wanted to try to get people into some semblance of their 616 costumes.  I'm also trying a little more of a one-take writing style, I hope it's not too confusing.  As usual, I don't own the X-Men, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Comics, or apparently too many production notes for this particular chapter.
